Cottingley Community Centre

Covid-19

Helping our Community

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING

COVID-19

We are now able to run groups and events once more and we are committed to doing so in a Covid secure manner.  We have hand sanitiser available throughout the building and although masks are no longer legally required we do encourage people to wear them in the public areas of the building if they are able to.

  • We are continuing our hot meal delivery service for those over 60.  This runs Monday to Friday, excluding  bank holidays.  Meals cost £5 and need to be ordered by 9:30 on the day.

  • You can also now order your meal, jacket potato or sandwich to enjoy sat with friends in our community café.  We are welcoming back our students from Beechcliffe School in the cafe and also a new group from High Park School

  • We are keeping a small amount of food bank supplies so that we can support local individuals and families who might be isolating and struggling to get shopping.  We will happily take any donations to the food bank, anything we cannot use here will be sent to Bingley or Bradford foodbanks.

  • We also get regular deliveries of fresh produce from the Fair Share project which is available for local residents who are struggling, we just ask for a small donation if you can afford it.

  • As always there is a warm welcome to anyone in the Community Centre and we will do our best to help with any problem.

We are now taking room hire bookings for events, these are subject to Covid regulations in place at the time  the event takes place.  Please contact us if you are planning an event to discuss your requirements.    Keep an eye on our facebook page for updates on groups and other community events we have planned.
